Abstract
In Korea, the ¡®National Immunization Program against Influenza¡¯ is implemented every year. In the 2018-2019 influenza
season, the program provided free influenza vaccination to seniors (ages 65 and older) and children (ages 12 and under). In the 2018-2019 influenza season, the vaccination rate was 84.3% for seniors, 73.5% for all children (ages 12 and under),
85.1% for children 59 months and under, 70.1% for children ages 7-9, and 58.3% for children ages 10-12. As age increased,
the vaccination rate tended to decrease. Adverse reactions to the influenza vaccination were reported in 86 cases; 36 seniors and 50 children.
